Sanders Moore

Sanders Moore is the State Director for Environment New Mexico, where she works to protect air, water, and open spaces in the state. Prior to joining ENM in 2010, she worked at the Georgia Conservancy for several years on improving air quality in the metro-Atlanta area through education and advocacy and decreasing the organization’s environmental footprint. She received her Master’s degree in Environmental Law & Policy from Vermont Law School and her B.A. from Wesleyan University.

Though we are lucky here in New Mexico that almost every day is sunny, 2014 is on pace to be the hottest year on record for the planet as a whole, according to the latest U.N. analysis. Scientists say we are already experiencing the impacts of global warming, such as drought and wildfires.
