Dr. Francine Jacobs is a pediatrician living and workig in Deming, New Mexico. She received her medical degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1999 then completed internship and residency in Pediatrics at University Hospital at Stony Brook. She comes to Deming from a Pediatric practice in West Valley City, UT.
Dr. Jacobs is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Her interests are spending time with her husband and three boys.
What she loves about Pediatrics is caring for kids from infancy all the way through adolescence and seeing the amazing changes that take place in their bodies and lives.
As a physician, I know that when you have a cure for an ailment, you use it. You don’t waste time, because you know that delay only makes the condition worse. New Mexico has a problem. We’re at the bottom of nearly every indicator of child well-being. We know what works and we’re actually giving the right medicine to a few lucky kids. But most are not getting the cure, even though we know it works and we have the resources to get it to them.
