Amanda Custer was born and raised in the Foot Hills of Albuquerque, but recently spent a semester in Napa Valley at the Oxbow School and worked in the bay area as a graphic designer in the subsequent summer. Her passions include capturing things that can't be felt with words through studio based art, and using words to paint a person into another human being's experience. She hopes to pursue both art, writing, and international studies in the future.
