Kendall McCook was born June 11, 1945 in Union County New Mexico, where his father was raised with 17 brothers and sisters on the family homestead. Kendall’s poetry and stories are mostly reflections of his northeastern New Mexico roots. He spends the summers near Santa Fe and resides in Fort Worth, Texas.

Rocking the pickup we huddle inside
