Austin is a senior from Carlsbad, New Mexico, working on a major in Honors Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts and a minor in History. He enjoys exploring the ways in which, as humans, our past affects both our present and future. He is a voracious fan of Lobo athletics, a Tolkien enthusiast and an avid tennis player. After college, Austin plans to teach high school history and coach tennis.
