Dr. Irene Blea is a Sociologist who taught and administered several Chicano/Hispano related programs during her twenty-seven year university career. “I choose to write and publish because I find most people do not document their thoughts, feelings, ideas and lives. It is important to know where we come from because it usually impacts where we are going and what we leave behind. What we leave behind is, of course, the most important thing.”

Dr. Blea speaks publically about her work and the need for peace within our own country before we can achieve peace around the world.
