Stephen Spitz hosts the show called New Mexico People Places and Ideas on KUNM. It is a ½ hour program that airs the 2nd Friday of each month at 8:00 a.m. As the show title suggests the topics vary greatly from politics to architecture to art to law to paleontology to anything else that might interest our listeners. Indeed, the joy of the show for him is learning about engaging with new people and ideas. This was also what he enjoyed about his career as a business litigator; every case and client was different and required a detailed study of the law and facts in order to determine how to best present his side of the dispute to a judge or jury. He has been hosting his program on KUNM, including a predecessor called Friday Forum, since 2000 when he moved to New Mexico.
